Protecting Your Account.

  • Yes, there are evil people who want to steal from your MuZone account.
  • And, yes they will target accounts that have a lot invested in them.

Imagine this :

  • You log into your account to take part in this week's Castle Siege War, load up your level maxed Blade Knight and all your gears you worked so much to achieve are gone.
  • Does this sound like something you alredy have heard about or experienced before?
  • There are ways to protect yourself. Wanting to help YOU, dear MuZoners, prevent this from happening I am offering these important account security tips below:

Do not

  • Do not use 3rd Party Tools.
  • Do not go to 3rd Party Websites that claim to offer services (free Credits or items and request you to login in for these).
  • Do not use your MuZone account name and/or password on other sites.
  • Do not use your account name when naming new characters .
  • Do not use a password that can be easily guessed.
  • Do not, under any circumstances, give your user name and password to anyone.
  • Do not disclose information about your Secret Question or Secret Answer.
  • Do not give your account details to "freinds" ingame. Never trust anyone. Most of you get your items lost from those "friends"!!!!!!!

Do

  • Install and update an anti-virus and anti-spyware programmes.
  • Use complex passwords.
  • Change your password at least once a month.
  • Log out your "MuZone" session when finished.

Also very Important!
Each time someone sends you something (image, rar etc.) Check it at once with your Antivirus. Especially rars before unzipping them.
Right click on image or rar and click check with "Antivirus name"

If you suspect that your account security has been compromised (hacked) you should:

  • Scan your computer for Trojan programs, spy ware and viruses.
  • Change your password once you are confident your computer is clean.
  • Submit a support request through the contact form stating the approximate time your account was compromised and as much detail as possible about the occurrence.
  • These are a few of the things that you can do to ensure your accounts security and what you can do if you suspect your information has been compromised.
  • I would like to thank you for playing in MuZone and for helping me to make MuZone a great gaming experience for all.

Watch out MuZoners! Do not ever show your items. Scammers can steal them without trade!!!!!

Be careful with trade scammers.

They usually put their trading item on the right and not on the left of trading box.

Wait 3 sec. before you click on ok, even if scammer has clicked on ok.
Avoid trading with unknown users and also new users .

REMEMBER THIS
Admin and GMs, would never ask for your password.
Admin will never send you any mail asking your password.
